Accessibility Statement

CarSavr believes auto-finance information should be usable by every consumer — including those who navigate the web with assistive technology. This page summarizes our commitments and how to reach us if you hit a barrier.

Standard we target

We design and build CarSavr.com against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the W3C. Our calculators, comparison tables, interactive maps, and editorial content are continuously reviewed against this standard.

What we do today

  • Semantic HTML across all pages so screen readers parse our structure.
  • Visible focus states on every interactive element.
  • Color contrast meets or exceeds WCAG AA on text and UI components.
  • Forms have associated labels and clear error messages.
  • Modals and dialogs trap focus and restore it on close.
  • Decorative images use empty alt text; informative images include descriptive alt text.
  • Page titles, headings, and landmarks are unique and descriptive.

Known gaps we're actively improving

  • The interactive U.S. map (state finder) is being enhanced with keyboard navigation and ARIA region descriptions.
  • A few third-party affiliate redirects open in new tabs without an explicit warning indicator — being addressed in 2026 Q1.
  • PDF assets (rate sheets, glossary downloads) are progressively being re-issued as accessible-tagged PDFs.
