A 300-850 credit score model used by most lenders to evaluate auto loan applicants.

FICO scores dominate auto lending. Average auto APRs by FICO band (Q4 2025): 781+ → 5.2%, 661-780 → 6.8%, 601-660 → 9.6%, 501-600 → 13.2%, sub-500 → 15.8%+.
